“A TASTE OF LUXURY, SERVED CASUALLY”

North Pole G&T

Thank god it’s Friday and it’s also Day 7 of 12 Days of Christmas Cocktails! I want to be able to write something cute or cheeky, but I am TIRED! This is the busiest time of year in the wine and spirits industry and all I want to do is crawl into bed. I couldn’t bail on the 7th day of 12 Days of Christmas Cocktails! So with no further ado the North Pole Gin and Tonic is waiting for you! Enjoy!

10 Cranberries

0.5oz Chambord

0.5oz Cointreau

0.5oz Lemon Juice

2oz The Botanist Gin

6.8oz Bottle Fever Tree Tonic Water

Garnish: Fresh Cranberries

Muddle the cranberries at the bottom of a cocktail shaker. Fill with ice and pour in the Chambord, Cointreau, lemon juice, and gin. Shake vigorously for 10 seconds. Fill a glass with ice, double strain mixture through a fine mesh strainer, and top off with tonic water. Garnish with fresh cranberries and enjoy!

Notes: If you don’t mind small bits of muddled fruit in your cocktail double straining is not necessary. The next brand of blackberry liqueur I would recommend is about half the price of Chambord and it’s called Drillaud Creme de Framboise Liqueur. It’s sweeter though so I would lessen the amount to 0.25oz.
