“A TASTE OF LUXURY, SERVED CASUALLY”

Too Early to be Spring

The temperature in Sonoma is all over the place! First it’s mid 60s, then drastically 80s for a week, and finally in the 50s! That 80 degree weather was frightening because it’s too early for spring let alone summer weather. This drink is my ode to the end of winter and my love of Middle Eastern flavors with hints of citrus, cardamom, and rose water! Make a glass of this refreshing drink to escape the bipolar weather or to pair with your favorite Middle Eastern and Mediterranean foods! Cheers!

1oz Hendricks Gin

1/2oz Italicus Liqueur

1/2oz Arancino (blood orange) Liquer

Juice of 1/2 Blood Orange

Juice of 1/2 Lemon

1/4oz Rose Water

3 shakes Cardamom Bitters

1 Egg White

Garnish: Lemon Slice

Grab a cocktail shake and add all the ingredients except the garnish. First dry shake (no ice) for 30 seconds and then add ice and shake for another 30 seconds. Strain mixture into a small goblet over a few ice cubes. Make a small slit in the lemon slice and garnish on the rim of the glass. Enjoy!

Notes

If not a very big fan of cardamom only use one shake of bitters.
